The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nikolay Bonkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Nikolay Bonkov came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolay Bonkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolay Bonkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolay Bonkov. Nikolay Bonkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Bonkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The wind increased when Pavol Stano made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nikolay Bonkov. That made the score 0-7 after 55 minutes of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolay Bonkov was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nikolay Bonkov. That made the score 0-8 after 68 minutes of play. In the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Garlic Eaters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nikolay Bonkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Pavol Stano got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolay Bonkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. 86 minutes into the match, Antonio Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Garlic Eaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Nikolay Bonkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nikolay Bonkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. The Garlic Eaters fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
