The Black Hole
Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Pinhal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabicker Pepin Club's goalkeeper Sten Virk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Tabicker Pepin Club's goalkeeper Sten Virk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Tabicker Pepin Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sten Virk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes Tabicker Pepin Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Tabicker Pepin Club's Sten Virk managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Inautzi. Fernando Pinhal scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Anton Gómez sent off a good shot on target. Sten Virk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Inautzi got free with Julio Vera in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Tabicker Pepin Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sten Virk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sten Virk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anton Gómez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Melchor Inautzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-0. Sten Virk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pinhal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Virk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Melchor Inautzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabicker Pepin Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Fernando Pinhal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Tabicker Pepin Club were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Perrando Hidalgo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tabicker Pepin Club's corner Perrando Hidalgo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Sten Virk was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 75th minute, David Baños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Sten Virk in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Tabicker Pepin Club defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Virk. The Tabicker Pepin Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Virk should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pinhal in the 81st minute of the match. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Virk. That made the score 3-3 after 88 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Virk having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
