Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Nicu Postelnicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Bordeianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Carp Team's Przemyslaw Falkiewicz got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 14 played minutes Carp Team got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eguzki. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Bordeianu. Calistrat Bordeianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Calistrat Bordeianu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Calistrat Bordeianu could save by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Matei Cârstea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Cârstea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Bordeianu having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matei Cârstea was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Carp Team's Neil Tutorskiy made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Cârstea in the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Bordeianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of play forced Carp Team's goalkeeper Calistrat Bordeianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Carp Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Šiljak to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Bordeianu having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match, Emilio Eguzki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
