Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genílson Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Ademir Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Costa in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Genílson Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Palmitos Futebol Clube SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Maciel couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Costa in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Dinei Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ademir Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hortêncio Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Ademir Costa sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Walmir Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
