Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho Torres in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, BELİZE CK's Osman Nuri Önen got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, BELİZE CK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Songurbey Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BELİZE CK's Songurbey Ulutaş. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Songurbey Ulutaş despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Songurbey Ulutaş saved BELİZE CK from getting behind. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho managed to work through BELİZE CK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cristian Sancho dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, BELİZE CK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Songurbey Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Ulutaş having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandrinho Torres was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Torres in the 52nd minute of play. BELİZE CK's Szczepan Hajder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, BELİZE CK's goalkeeper Songurbey Ulutaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Andino. 62 minutes into the match, BELİZE CK's goalkeeper Songurbey Ulutaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 84 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Songurbey Ulutaş. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Songurbey Ulutaş in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, Eugenio Mazzone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BELİZE CK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Eugenio Mazzone hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
