Grigore Bădilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Grigore Bădilescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Arapașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Bădila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Bădila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grigore Bădilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Petruț Arapașu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantin Bădila scored 8-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Bădila in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
