The ◄R.BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA► fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Arijan Kadirović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nebojša Selmanović took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
