Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Van Lentz made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Alvin Rosin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Van Lentz sent off a good shot on target. If André Lameirinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Riala Goif was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 16th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Bur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tom Bur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Bur came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Riala Goif's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Tom Bur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Rosin got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tom Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes Riala Goif's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jose Carita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Panama booed when Riala Goif was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Alvin Rosin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 44 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Alvin Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Riala Goif's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abraham Alguacil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Riala Goif getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Francois Ballette hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Van Lentz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Van Lentz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Bur was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Biörkman came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Alvin Rosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. A collision led to Riala Goif getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Francois Ballette hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Bur. Tom Bur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 81 minutes Riala Goif's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Riala Goif's Tom Bur managed to reach the ball for a save. Jesper Biörkman took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Van Lentz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesper Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Bur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
