Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Torres in the 6th minute of play. BELİZE CK's Songurbey Ulutaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BELİZE CK's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songurbey Ulutaş came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Torres came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Osman Nuri Önen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Osman Nuri Önen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, BELİZE CK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilmen Kutlubay to maneuver through the defense. Songurbey Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Hajder in the 28th minute of play. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Sandrinho Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 40th minute. Osman Nuri Önen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, BELİZE CK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilmen Kutlubay to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Hajder in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BELİZE CK's Dilmen Kutlubay got a free kick in the 61st minute. Songurbey Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Sandrinho Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Sandrinho Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of BELİZE CK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Dilmen Kutlubay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BELİZE CK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, BELİZE CK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilmen Kutlubay to maneuver through the defense. BELİZE CK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
