Club Ibiza's Tomás Orlanda quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 17 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Heitor Paim Belluci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Higuita came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Murilo Bueno Lobo. But to his dismay, Murilo Bueno Lobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brazil fully deserved thier win.
