FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 21st minute of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alaaddin Solskjær made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 51st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Falkrans thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alaaddin Solskjær, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-3. In the 60th minute of the match, Iwan Kasiewski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. FC Kurdistan's Ubaldo Ritchie was substituted for Iwan Kasiewski. FC Kurdistan's Emanuel Åström was substituted for Paul Falkrans. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Yin Yun Fan hit a great ball. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yin Yun Fan to maneuver through the defense. Lars Sundström took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. After 79 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 4-6 after 86 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Hybbert. FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roni Ronaldinho took the corner. The corner ended in Roni Ronaldinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save.
