In the 8th match minute, Dep. Morón 1947 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rencio Armada to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dep. In the 32nd minute, Mateo Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dep. Morón 1947's Ronny Rudø got a free kick in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Rudø during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronny Rudø kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Fernan Harriet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Morón 1947's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Fernan Harriet hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jack Nicholson. Jack Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dep. Morón 1947's Jack Nicholson. Jack Nicholson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jack Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Flores came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Jack Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Nicholson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Daniel Zorita scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Nicholson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Flores. If Mateo Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced Dep. Morón 1947's goalkeeper Jack Nicholson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
