Mexico were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Diamante Negro DK - VV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Ceni was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. If Vinícius Servaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Diamante Negro DK - VV defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Ceni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Rogério Ceni was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 93rd minute, Victor Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Mexico played a much better game than Diamante Negro DK - VV and deserved their victory. The Diamante Negro DK - VV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
