Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Bucesta started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.B Leipzig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Žilák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Bucesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. R.B Leipzig's Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 39th minute Fausto Bucesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Žilák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Bucesta's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. R.B Leipzig's Marek Žilák tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Rafoss to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes R.B Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Rafoss. R.B Leipzig's Marek Žilák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marek Žilák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Bucesta in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonard Rafoss charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Rafoss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonard Rafoss hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Bucesta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ribota to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. R.B Leipzig had won after a very even match.
