The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Bermel in the 11th minute of the match. Evrosi Slivenski came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Bermel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dinko Sakaliyski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milcho Kararizov. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evrosi Slivenski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Устрем - Пет могили got a freekick which was hit by Jurgen Roelofsen. After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Amadeo Bermel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. From close distance Dinko Sakaliyski pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 44 minutes into the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Dinko Sakaliyski put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Evrosi Slivenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Устрем - Пет могили got a freekick which was hit by Milko Nenov. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Sakaliyski in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinko Sakaliyski in the 68th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Устрем - Пет могили was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergil Yankov to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Evrosi Slivenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evrosi Slivenski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Устрем - Пет могили's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evrosi Slivenski came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinko Sakaliyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Устрем - Пет могили's Vergil Yankov got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evrosi Slivenski. Patricio Costa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
