Beila Abaunza came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Piorno Llera made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Valhalla F.C.'s Miguel Lagarejos got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Beila Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Beila Abaunza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rioja Estebanez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rioja Estebanez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rioja Estebanez hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Murrillo in the 63rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beila Abaunza having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Valhalla F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Siro Fauria. 79 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Beila Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 80th minute, Xorxe Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla F.C.. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beila Abaunza having to interfere. Daniel Zorita made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 87thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Beila Abaunza would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Beila Abaunza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beila Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
