Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Danilo Testa made a huge save. After some careless play in the Candelaria FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Testa. The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Testa should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Danilo Testa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute. 37 minutes in the game Christian Gómez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Okanalp Özdil. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okanalp Özdil made a kick off. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okanalp Özdil. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
