Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Sjöberg got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg. In the 9th minute, Bart Pellen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Marquez made a kick off. Arnaldo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Marquez in the 62nd minute of play. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Okanalp Özdil replaced Bart Pellen. Wieslaw Bielejewski didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Danilo Testa threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 95th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Candelaria FC had won after a very even match.
