Panama's Tomas Berganza took a good shot, in the 17th minute, which hit the crossbar above Yoel Quevedo's head, and flew over the goal. Recolta Alamor's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Panama. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Recolta Alamor's Jerrod Dickinson. In the 23rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Bateman in the 24th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Cagle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Recolta Alamor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodore Cagle in the 34th minute of the match. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chris Bateman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Bateman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Panama booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Bateman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Bateman's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bateman came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Rosen in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Theodore Cagle put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Recolta Alamor's Norman Donnelly was substituted for Chris Bateman. The supporters of Panama booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 82nd minute of play. Recolta Alamor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
