Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 4 minutes, Filippos Stathopoulos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lillhärdal BF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippos Stathopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixten Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Lillhärdal BF's Tord Kämpe. But to his dismay, Tord Kämpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Qin Han Jing kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Filippos Stathopoulos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 50th minute of play forced Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filippos Stathopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lillhärdal BF the free kick. 55 minutes into the game, Filippos Stathopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filippos Stathopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Berkem Heybetli came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lillhärdal BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkem Heybetli couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Lillhärdal BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute of the match Qin Han Jing shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Filippos Stathopoulos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Benito Sanz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Filippos Stathopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Lillhärdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96thth minute of the game Filippos Stathopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
