Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the 0Fubar You players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 0Fubar You. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Edwin Caddick in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin Caddick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Edwin Caddick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Jerrard Bailey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Edwin Caddick was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off.
