In the 9th minute of the match USA got a corner. Dionisia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dionisia's goalie and right to Jacob May. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dionisia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Jimeno Dalmai fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dionisia's protests and gave Jimeno Dalmai a yellow card for diving instead. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Zach Harrison. Jimeno Dalmai hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Eanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dionisia's Jimeno Dalmai in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 32nd minute of play. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomás Xacintu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Dalmai to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Peng Sha Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dionisia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peng Sha Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Serafim Eanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dionisia's Sebastian Cisco was substituted for Peng Sha Yang. 60 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Serafim Eanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Tomás Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dionisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Beturian in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Serafim Eanes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Serafim Eanes made a huge save. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Dionisia from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Serafim Eanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Moore made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dionisia's Tomás Xacintu. In the 94th minute, Arnaldo Beturian made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
