Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Vidal having to make a save. In the 17th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Cui Bin Yang made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Elvio Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Madureira came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Cui Bin Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Cui Bin Yang got a free kick in the 41st minute. Renato Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Klaus-Dieter Scheuch got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Fontes in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Peru booed when ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Moises Gayoso at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ. 0-1. 63 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Renato Vidal. Eliseo Mina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Madureira came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Vidal. Renato Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Vidal having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Madureira came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renato Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Prats's late challenge caught a ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Prats helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Fontes in the 93rd minute of play. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
