Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Barr Point's CJ Street started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Den Newland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Den Newland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Bonham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jude Bonham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes Barr Point's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montenegro drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Barr Point's goalkeeper. 39 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jude Bonham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jude Bonham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Owen Welsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jude Bonham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Den Newland got free with Julio Vera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jude Bonham made a huge save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jude Bonham in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Jude Bonham despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Barr Point's Chris Bowler. But to his dismay, Chris Bowler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Den Newland charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Den Newland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Den Newland hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jude Bonham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jude Bonham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Jude Bonham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jude Bonham having to make a save. Owen Welsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barr Point.
