With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Dziewulski in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Florian Zaremba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gwidon Zecman made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Wieslaw Mazierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fen Revas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Zecman came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Florian Zaremba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Fen Revas got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Grabski.
