With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giotis Tripotseris saved Seguí FC from getting behind. Giotis Tripotseris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Seguí FC's Giotis Tripotseris got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cassius Byrne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giotis Tripotseris. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. With a little luck, Seguí FC's Giotis Tripotseris got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Bieito was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Seguí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Giotis Tripotseris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giotis Tripotseris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giotis Tripotseris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Omar Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Omar Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Giotis Tripotseris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers.
