Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Hu Yao Nan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ye Kang Zhan in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Toni Kroos MGZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Hu Yao Nan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Kang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita had several of the Toni Kroos MGZ™'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ye Kang Zhan as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ye Kang Zhan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Toni Kroos MGZ™ from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ye Kang Zhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Toni Kroos MGZ™ from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hu Yao Nan in the 42nd minute of the match.

Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ye Kang Zhan having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Hu Yao Nan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toni Kroos MGZ™. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ye Kang Zhan. Ye Kang Zhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Régis Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ye Kang Zhan was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Toni Kroos MGZ™ got a freekick which was hit by Felice Garibaldi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play forced Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Ye Kang Zhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Toni Kroos MGZ™ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dedê Tróia hit a great ball. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
