Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ola Håkansson started the match with the kick off. Valter Wallgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Woopbongo's Ola Håkansson in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Albohm who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Woopbongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Håkansson in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes Woopbongo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Peder Sundberg hit a great ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Håkansson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Valter Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Woopbongo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montes got free with Valter Wallgren in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valter Wallgren. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute Ola Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Valter Wallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valter Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 70th minute of the match. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ola Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Håkansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Woopbongo got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Albohm ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Håkansson in the 85th minute of the match. When Ola Håkansson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Woopbongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Håkansson couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
