Venezuela's Joshua Secada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Çetin Gürgan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 13 minutes, Joshua Secada made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Çetin Gürgan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. kaya Acabey kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Şansal Torlak was substituted for Güntekin Saru. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 36 minutes of play, 19☆GÖZTEPE☆25's Yiğit Ömer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Çetin Gürgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yiğit Ömer to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Ömer in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Yiğit Ömer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Venezuela players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
