Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. The throw-in from Stig Rosen in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. After a rather tough play, Leeds United FC's Stig Rosen got a free kick in the 6th minute. Stig Rosen made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kennet Bergqvist. The supporters of Honduras booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 minutes, Mikael Larsfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds United FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Larsfelt to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Levander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elliott Levander. Elliott Levander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

65 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeds United FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kennet Bergqvist during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Sture Tolsson fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds United FC's protests and gave Sture Tolsson a yellow card for diving instead. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Levander. Elliott Levander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Kvist in the 73rd minute of play. During the 74th minute of the match Ivan Navarro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Navarro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Börje Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeds United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Lindsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kennet Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds United FC. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Levander was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 88th minute of the game Stig Rosen made a throw-in which Kennet Bergqvist played forward. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Aaron Kvist took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
