Zumar Figueroa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Juan Bermejo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apoena Ocaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Apoena Ocaña came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Adolfo Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apoena Ocaña scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apoena Ocaña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apoena Ocaña in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When %teams%'s Apoena Ocaña was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-6 just inside the left pole, 63 minutes into the game. Ricardo Zorita was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rayo Tharkad's Apoena Ocaña in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Manolo Lacorte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Hector Dorado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Rayo Tharkad fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Rayo Tharkad's Apoena Ocaña looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Adolfo Hevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Manolo Lacorte sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apoena Ocaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Luque to maneuver through the defense. Rayo Tharkad's Zumar Figueroa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Zorita but with some difficulty. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rayo Tharkad's Apoena Ocaña shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-10 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match was over Rayo Tharkad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
