The referee showed Ernesto Maio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Panama booed when TRANSILVANIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Maio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Mazzetti. TRANSILVANIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Mazzetti having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Mazzetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Alguacil ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Mazzetti. TRANSILVANIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Aldo Mazzetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Felice Mian managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRANSILVANIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Mian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Mian in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TRANSILVANIA's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Mazzetti came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aldo Mazzetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Mian in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Minicucci. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Abraham Alguacil succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. TRANSILVANIA's Aldo Mazzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes TRANSILVANIA got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Vasco.
