Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Manuel Lajoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lajoie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lajoie saved FC Werdenberg from getting behind. Evgeniy Babich took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lajoie having to interfere. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tudor Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Tudor Caragea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Felix Montenegro made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökmen Uzkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Caragea came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Manuel Lajoie in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, FC Werdenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Manuel Lajoie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Caragea in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
