An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Dominix in the 4th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Dominix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 6 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damián Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Dominix in the 10th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Ambrosio Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tottenham Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Dominix in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Damián Martínez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Belmiro da Fonseca's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Dominix in the 37th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Ambrosio Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Sam Campbell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damián Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Tottenham Hotspurs made a substitution. Inocencio Froila replaced Enginalp İdilkurt. Damián Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Campbell went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Marco Baker scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damián Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the USA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
