Constantino Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimond Lenk was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Spyros Zacharioudakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cleto Onofre fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Cleto Onofre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cleto Onofre hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimond Lenk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Angelo Rolado hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Raimond Lenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimond Lenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Czeslaw Bochynski in the 24 minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's Constantino Idacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Idacio. In the 47th minute Constantino Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Constantino Idacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Idacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gaspar Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Esteban Iztal got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Idacio took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Gaspar Montxo got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Zacharioudakis to maneuver through the defense. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. After 86 minutes of play, Piratas FC's Constantino Idacio made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimond Lenk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Constantino Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Piratas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
