Guillermo Mariano made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Orhan Veli Şevki. The crowd rose to their feet as Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Wojciech Nocny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 40 in the game by Wojciech Nocny from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the game, Wojciech Nocny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Wojciech Nocny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Egon Lepisk struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Egon Lepisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wojciech Nocny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Nocny in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Humberto Mazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 70 played minutes Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Mazza. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 76th minute of play forced Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Nocny in the 83rd minute of play.
