A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ivan Prats hit a great ball. If Tage Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Hafström in the 71st minute of play. Per Valström hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hammarby Sjöstad IF's Jens-Ove Tillman was substituted for Roland Albom. The supporters of Hammarby Sjöstad IF booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Runberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Hammarby Sjöstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Henry Kullgren. The throw-in from Per Valström in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hammarby Sjöstad IF could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
