Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eriberto Maiorga got the match started through his kick off. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan-Alfredo Verges made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Admon. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Eriberto Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Longchamps club's goalkeeper Sergio Longhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Longhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Eriberto Maiorga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Eriberto Maiorga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 30th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Longchamps club's 彭榕威 got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Oscar Intxixu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Oscar Intxixu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 彭榕威 came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Longchamps club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 彭榕威 couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eriberto Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eriberto Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Longhi. Longchamps club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Longchamps club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cidro Dorado charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cidro Dorado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Longchamps club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cidro Dorado hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi didn't even have to move. Juan-Alfredo Verges made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aurelio Urdaspal immediately put the ball in play. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute 彭榕威 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Eriberto Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Longchamps club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
