Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingvar Hökkvist started the match with the kick off. Arne Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Hökkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Almstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Hökkvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Zorita 32 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Almstedt. Arne Almstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Ingvar Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hudiksvalls United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. Eddie Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Hökkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiktor Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Hökkvist in the 58th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute, Peter Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Thor Grönberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Thor Grönberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Leguizamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Hökkvist hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Although Hudiksvalls United had been in control for most of the match, El Salvador still came away with the win.
