Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelillo Di Maria got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Angelillo Di Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Hernaiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Frisck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Hernaiz in the 27th minute of play. Joar Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play forced FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Hernaiz made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. Joar Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelillo Di Maria did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 37 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Benett in the 40th minute of play. Joar Frisck came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Joar Frisck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 56 minutes into the match, Angelillo Di Maria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelillo Di Maria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Robben Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robben Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 75th minute Andreas Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC NORDLAND made a substitution. Ervin Frk replaced Rhys Hughes. In the 87th minute FC NORDLAND were awarded a corner. Alex Hernaiz went to the cornerflag to take it. When FC NORDLAND's Angelillo Di Maria in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC NORDLAND had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
