Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Challestone S.C.'s Gregorio Mel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Challestone S.C.'s González Urraca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Mel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Pepe Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gregorio Mel struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Challestone S.C.. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Challestone S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. González Urraca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Gregorio Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selmi Uğurcan was the one to do the kick off. Robert Prosinečki hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pepe Pancho made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Gregorio Mel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Challestone S.C. were awarded a corner. Yan Yuan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Yan Yuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pepe Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Challestone S.C.'s Yan Yuan got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Challestone S.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Gregorio Mel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Mel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Mel in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, Challestone S.C.'s Gregorio Mel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gregorio Mel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Challestone S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Mel couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pepe Pancho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Challestone S.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
