Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. At last the ball reached Pippin Aguilera at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Peru. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Antonucci got free with Rolando Noboa in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zachariasz Dudkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ronnie Odell sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Fan Yong Zhan got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Antonucci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustacio Antonucci slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronnie Odell got free with Rolando Noboa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Vidal, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Artaç Yavuzalp got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronnie Odell. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pippin Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Antonucci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eustacio Antonucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Peru's Zachariasz Dudkowski threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luz Tejedor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Odell in the 58th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Dudkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachariasz Dudkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Arturo Vidal got a free kick in the 75th minute. CRUZ DEL SUR's Pan Lin Zhen was substituted for Pippin Aguilera. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Arturo Vidal hit a great ball. After 81 minutes CRUZ DEL SUR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Pan Lin Zhen took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Estefan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
