Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agesilaus Michalaras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Agesilaus Michalaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Agesilaus Michalaras made a huge save. Agesilaus Michalaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agesilaus Michalaras. Agesilaus Michalaras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邱悦弘, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LIGHTNING getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mathias Vestberg hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agesilaus Michalaras firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when 邱悦弘 made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邱悦弘 in the 52nd minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by 邱悦弘 in the 54th minute. Agesilaus Michalaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to LIGHTNING getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emenon Canosa hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agesilaus Michalaras having to interfere. Ilixo Abeita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agesilaus Michalaras having to make a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agesilaus Michalaras came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Filip Filev kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agesilaus Michalaras. Agesilaus Michalaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邱悦弘 in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邱悦弘 in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agesilaus Michalaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
