Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin Jonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Bergsten came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matteo Ribić in the 31st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Bergsten came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicola van Bommel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Edvin Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chile booed when Henley Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicola van Bommel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Bergsten in the 57th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joakim Bergsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bergsten in the 68th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Bergsten in the 75th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Richarlison de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Edvin Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Henley Utd's goalkeeper Edvin Jonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Henley Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Edvin Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Jonsson having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin Jonsson was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
