After a rather tough play, Peru's Moises Gayoso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Juniors came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Balázs Sass in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Luz Tejedor. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

51 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Camaño came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goalkeeper Adriano De Carolis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Juniors in the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adriano De Carolis. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Vinícius Juniors struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ugonotti. In the 74th minute, Ugonotti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Camaño in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Luz Tejedor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano De Carolis. The goal made the score 0-4. Yu Wei Bo scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Yu Wei Bo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Balázs Sass made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano De Carolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano De Carolis having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
