Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathijs Rokeloos started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Richard Mccarthy in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters. The supporters of Canada booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Wauters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Mathijs Rokeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Cromvelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathijs Rokeloos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koby Wright took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean-Louis Van Bever. KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 17th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Harris came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Wauters. Carter George might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Louis Van Bever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carter George ran back to his position shaking his head. Carter George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Canada's Rohan Watson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Canada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koby Wright was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 53rd minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Luka Harris sent off a good shot on target. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. In the 61st minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Cromvelde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cosmin Contra in the 65th minute. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. Herman Frans hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jean-Louis Van Bever acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Richard Mccarthy. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Matthias Wauters hit a great ball. When Theo Burton came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Burton couldn't finish the play. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Edwards in the 77th minute of the match. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathijs Rokeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Contra to maneuver through the defense. When Cosmin Contra fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Cromvelde's protests and gave Cosmin Contra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Canada booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Contra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Jan Dixon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal and Jan Dixon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prince Anderson in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Theo Burton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KFC Cromvelde.
