A collision led to Dolar Blue Ψ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Valdemar Holm hit a great ball. Cassius Byrne did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Javier Perpiñán 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dolar Blue Ψ's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Perpiñán came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Chano in the 18th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Chano was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Perpiñán was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Dolar Blue Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sam Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Umbruso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Sam Campbell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Perpiñán was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Perpiñán. Javier Perpiñán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Javier Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Dolar Blue Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Holm.
