Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Norberto Gizon and just under the crossbar into goal. Christian Sancho got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edmundo Espiga. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Gizon. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Gizon. ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Norberto Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Gizon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 38 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Espinar got free with Norberto Gizon in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Norberto Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Gizon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentín Carvallo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Norberto Gizon. ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Norberto Gizon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Norberto Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Gizon was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0.
