Ken Sodja's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of NK AvtoBUM Kočevje booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jákó Myroforidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jákó Myroforidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Harrison in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 42nd minute of play forced NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's goalkeeper Jákó Myroforidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vili Aćimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Campbell in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jákó Myroforidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Baker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jákó Myroforidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Baker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute.
