Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Guns And Roses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Guns And Roses's Nazil Canay got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nazil Canay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nazil Canay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazil Canay in the 12th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Nazil Canay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guns And Roses the free kick. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nazil Canay sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Domingos Santana got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guns And Roses getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mathies Dalsbirk hit a great ball. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Eustacio Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Segundo Bordat. The audience was convinced that Nazil Canay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 47th match minute, Guns And Roses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathies Dalsbirk to maneuver through the defense. Guns And Roses's Ismael Otsoko was substituted for Mathies Dalsbirk. Guns And Roses made a substitution. Luis Admon replaced Agustin Txatxu. After 48 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Mathies Dalsbirk. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jesús Salvador had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Salvador in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesús Salvador took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jesús Salvador kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Salamon. Eustacio Misael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jesús Salvador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Salvador, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesús Salvador went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Salvador in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Eustacio Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Salvador in the 89th minute of play. Jesús Salvador struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guns And Roses. Guns And Roses were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
